Family

The boys

How do we define family? Especially in today’s society, there are so many to choose from.  “A fundamental social group in society typically consisting of one or two parents
and their children?”  or  “Two or more people who share goals and values, have long-term commitments to one another, and reside usually in the same dwelling place?”

We definitely are not a traditional family… we are not all from the same common ancestry, but we are definitely a family.

Jim and I met in 1995 when Topher decided he wanted to play spring baseball.  Interestingly enough, our boys knew each other from school.  Topher and Chris were in the same class together.  Jimmy was just a year ahead of the other two.   Jim and I got married December 29, 1995.  Our boys are grown now, living their own lives, but still very much a part of ours!

I love my family!
